Our client is a rapidly growing pharmaceutical and medical device company based in Mississauga, Ontario.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
HHAI is recruiting for an experienced National Sales Manager to manage a team of sales representatives across Canada. This person will be an integral member of the organization as it prepares for the launch of exciting new products and the growth of its existing product portfolio.
Ideally, this person will be based in the Greater Toronto Area to Hamilton/KWC/Guelph region with easy access to the company’s Mississauga location.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Main Responsibilities:
Meet or exceed product category sales targets spread across product portfolio
Coach, mentor and train a team of experienced territory managers and prepare the team for upcoming product launches
Developing strategic and tactical plans, budgets and forecasts is a key element of this role
Develop appropriate metrics and support the sales team to ensure their success and that of the organization
Participate in demonstrations, product presentations, customer meetings, and/or regional clinical meetings, when required
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
Minimum of 3 recent years managing a sales team in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry
Working knowledge of the pharmaceutical and medical device industry and experience in a B2B and/or B2C selling environment
At least 2 years of experience in a strategic marketing or business intelligence/analytical role in the pharma, medical device or OTC pharma industry
Outstanding analytical and organization skill are necessary
An ability to travel in Canada and internationally approximately 30% of the time is required
Must have a valid driver’s license
