Our client is an International OEM of Medical Devices, Products and Capital Equipment. They require an individual with Diagnostic Ultrasound experience for a Clinical role.

You are either fully Bilingual (French/English) or have professional working proficiency in French. Individuals without commercial experience
must possess a keen desire to share their knowledge and experience as a member of the medical device industry.

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

  • Your customers will include relevant healthcare personnel in select acute care centers in French and English Canada

  • You will provide clinical & technical support/direction to key stakeholders and develop relationships that will ensure product and customer acceptance that will in turn facilitate sales and service opportunities with existing and new customers.

  • Applicants must reside in Canadian cities with an International Airport. Although Bilingual Applicants will most likely reside in Québec (Montréal or Québec City) or Central Ontario (Toronto or Ottawa). Candidates who reside in large metropolitan centers in Eastern or Western Canada will be seriously considered.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to Identify, develop and execute strategies that will advance the products, technologies and company

  • Share clinical, product and technical knowledge with customers to ensure successful product acceptance, evaluations, installations and use of equipment

  • Ability to identify and share business opportunities with company stakeholders

  • Track and report using company CRM

  • Attendance at trade shows, conferences and advanced training courses/updates 

 JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • You have 3-5 years’ experience as a certified sonographer or practicing nurse trained in the use of ultrasound equipment and procedures

  • General abdominal, gastrointestinal or cardiopulmonary experience is preferred 

  • Degree and/or technical diploma and relevant certifications (BScN/RN, RDMS, CRGS etc.)

  • Commercial healthcare experience will be considered to be an asset

  • Familiarity with hospital policies and procedures earned through business and/or clinical experience

  • Ability to read, write and speak fluently in both French and English

  • Willingness and ability to travel as required to service customers, manage new opportunities and attend meetings, industry events and training

  • Excellent time management and communication skills

  • Fluency in the use of MSO applications

Laura Beaton

Laura is a Canadian award winning Visual Fine Art Artist.

She studied Asian art under Masters in Mississauga, Toronto, and in China and mixed media/acrylics under Halina Wyluda-Kazmierczak and Mila Duric

Her 2-dimensional art are fusions of ancient painting techniques and her own creations using acrylics and mixed media. Painting in each medium enriches the other.

Her works transcend cultures and are in permanent and private collections in China (RPR, as well as in private collections), Africa (His Royal Highness Edward Wambuzi Colombus, Uganda) and throughout the USA and Canada.

With her University of Toronto OTC (Ontario Teacher’s Certificate) Laura taught business at the college and high school levels. She co-founded a Mississauga-based consulting business in 1996 where she honed her business skills. Laura has regularly volunteered her time to coach artists relative to the business of art.

Laura has exhibited in Canada and in China. Laura exhibited at the Art Gallery of Ontario – Portraits of Resilience, Art Gallery of Mississauga, the Qi of Water, and interviewed by Focus Mandarin, OMNI TV. Previous interviews include Lucid Gallery (USA), Camoes TV, Stella’s Studio, ep 36; Modern Mississauga, Radio 960AM – Arts Report.

Laura was invited to create the art ‘Dovetailing’, the title track of Jacelyn Holmes’ jazz CD.

2021 brought honorariums and most recently “From the Ashes Art Exhibition”. The show is an intersectional feminist public art exhibit, show casing artist interpretations of realities faced by those who identify as women in Canada.
